Weighing 776.5g and measuring 185.5 x 85.5 x 34mm, the Armor 33 Pro is unapologetically big. For context, most flagship phones can’t even last a day on a 5,000mAh battery. This one can disappear into the wilderness for a week without a charger. When it’s time to charge, 66W fast charging gets you back in action quick and 10W reverse charging lets you share some juice with other devices.

MIL-STD-810H certified, it can handle drops and shocks that would break other devices. With IP68 and IP69K rated, the handset can withstand dust, be submerged in 2 meters of water for 30 minutes and even survive high-pressure water jets. Both the 6.95-inch main display and 3.4-inch rear screen are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The dual-screen design is where things get interesting. The 6.95-inch FHD+ display with 1,080 x 2,460 pixels and 120Hz refresh rate is smooth for everything from streaming to gaming. 700 nits of peak brightness is enough for outdoor use and a 32-megapixel front camera sits in a punch-hole cutout for selfies or video calls. The 50-megapixel ultra-wide macro lens is for expansive shots or close-ups. Video recording is 4K at 30fps or Full HD. A dedicated camera button for quick snapping and the rear screen’s preview function to help you frame the shot.

The Armor 33 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X, a 4nm octa-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz. Optimized for dual-screen devices, it gets a 30% boost in AI performance and an AnTuTu score of 750,000. Featuring 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage (expandable via microSD), multitasking and file access are snappy. It runs Android 14 and has Ulefone AI Pro, which taps into cloud-based AI services like Google Gemini and ChatGPT for smarter interactions. Connectivity is solid, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and infrared blaster to control devices like TVs.

For those who don’t need the second screen, the Armor 33 is a great alternative. It swaps the rear screen for a 1,100-lumen LED light and warning system, perfect for camping or signaling in emergencies. Powered by the MediaTek Helio G100, a 4G chip with good efficiency and 12GB of RAM, it has most of the Pro’s features including the same big battery and camera system. Both are built to last but the Armor 33 leans more into practical outdoor tools than the Pro’s dual-screen gimmick.
