Keyphone is a Tactile, Modular Take on Modern Phones, Complete with Swappable Keyboard

The Keyphone, a compact device with a swappable physical keyboard, brings back tactile typing in the age of sleek smartphones. Running on lightweight Android 15, it prioritizes the essentials and repairability, no distractions. Launched on Indiegogo, it’s nostalgia meets modularity for those who want simplicity.
The custom Android 15 skin limits apps to the essentials—phone, text, contacts, calendar, notes, camera, gallery, music, clock, and alarm—so you don’t get notification overload. This focused OS is for those who value connectivity without digital clutter. Developers are asking for feedback on features like Android Auto or eSIM so the community can help design.
