Manchester United and Everton continue their pre-season preparations on Sunday as they meet in the Premier League Summer Series in Atlanta.

The Red Devils have enjoyed their time in the States so far, with victories over West Ham and Bournemouth, as Ruben Amorim prepares for his first full season in charge.

The Toffees have had less success in terms of results, beaten by both the Hammers and the Cherries, although David Moyes is unlikely to be too fussed about scorelines on the summer trip.

Both managers will want to boost morale and gain momentum ahead of the new Premier League season, which is now less than two weeks away.

Amorim’s side return to Manchester and have one more pre-season match to come against Fiorentina before they get their campaign underway against Arsenal on August 17.

The venue for Sunday’s contest is the home of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’ Atlanta United.

Man Utd vs Everton team news

The big news for Manchester United fans is that Bryan Mbeumo is set to be involved for the first time since his move from Brentford.

The forward has been given time to build fitness and bed into the squad, not included in the previous two friendlies, but will feature against the Toffees.

Harry Maguire was taken off at half-time in the win over Bournemouth earlier in the week, while Matheus Cunha was not used.

Neither are injured, but their minutes are being managed and both could be involved on Sunday.

James Tarkowski is fit again for Everton, but Jarrad Branthwaite is out of the tour through injury.

Summer signing Thierno Barry could be handed a start as he prepares to battle with Beto to be first choice up front.

Amorim on Man Utd improvements

After a disastrous season for the club last time round, Amorim believes there have been crucial improvements over the summer.

‘I think are we better in every detail. In the organisation of the day-by-day,’ said the United boss.

‘The nutrition is better, the way we cook, what we eat, how we prepare training. I think that we are more organised. I think we have people now that help us to be better. I’m not concerned with small things and I was last year.

‘So, those things help us and help me to think more about watching the game, watching the team. So it’s a big help for me.

‘When it’s a big help for the technical staff, it’s a big help for the players.’
