Man Utd approve deal for Rasmus Hojlund transfer | Football

Manchester United have reached an initial agreement with AC Milan over a loan deal for Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports in Italy.
United are now on the verge of signing Benjamin Sesko after agreeing a deal worth €76.5 million (£66.3m) plus €8.5m (£7.3m) in add-ons with RB Leipzig this week.
Sesko arrived in the UK via a private jet on Thursday evening and is due to undergo a medical on Friday before completing his move to Ruben Amorim’s side.
Hojlund, who scored four goals in the Premier League last season, has made it clear that he wants to stay at United and fight for his place, however, the club are open to allowing the Denmark international to leave Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window.
Sky Sport Italy report that United have received an approach from AC Milan over a potential deal for Hojlund and the Premier League side have approved a loan that includes an option to buy.

The report adds that a final agreement needs to be reached, including the value of the option to buy, while AC Milan also need to receive the green light from Hojlund.

Elsewhere, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Hojlund is open to joining AC Milan, while the deal will be helped by United’s willingness to cover the 22-year-old’s salary.
The report adds that AC Milan would look to pay a loan fee below €6m (£5.2m), while the option to buy Hojlund could be priced at around €35m (£30.3m).
Hojlund, who joined United in a £72m deal from Atalanta two years ago, still has three years remaining on his contract.
‘I think the most important thing for me is just to keep working hard and stay focused and then obviously we’ll see what happens,’ the striker said when asked about his future last month.
‘I think my plan is very clear and that is for me to stay and fight for my spot, whatever happens.’
