A Bugatti Brouillard doesn’t just roll off the production line. It’s sculpted, dreamed and crafted for one person alone, a rolling work of art born from unlimited wealth and unlimited imagination.

Set to be revealed next week at Monterey Car Week 2025, this one-off hypercar is the first of Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire, a bespoke initiative that will produce only two unique cars a year. Commissioned by Dutch entrepreneur Michel Perridon, a Bugatti collector who loves cars, furniture and sculptures, the Brouillard is a celebration of heritage, power and artistry.

It’s built on the carbon fiber and aluminum chassis of the Chiron family, powered by the legendary 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine that produces 1,578 horsepower. This engine is the heart of modern Bugatti and is as fierce as a Thoroughbred – fitting given its namesake, Ettore Bugatti’s favourite horse. Every detail, from the exterior lines to the interior stitching, is a client’s vision brought to life by Bugatti’s craftsmen.

The Brouillard’s bodywork flows like a racehorse’s sides, with reflective surfaces that catch the light in amazing ways. A massive horseshoe grille dominates the front, flanked by fender-mounted LED headlights and air intakes for the W16. The wide fenders and integrated ducktail spoiler at the back provide aerodynamic poise, while the X-shaped LED taillights and quad exhaust pipes are reminiscent of the Chiron Super Sport as well as W16 Mistral.

The cabin features custom-woven tartan fabrics from Paris, green-tinted carbon fiber, and machined aluminum accents. Every detail is unique, from the chairs made to Perridon’s exact specifications to the embroidered horse patterns on the door panels and seatbacks. The gear shifter, carved from a single aluminum block, houses a miniature handcrafted sculpture of the Brouillard horse, which is enclosed in glass.

The Brouillard’s debut at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, is no coincidence. Monterey Car Week is the perfect platform for a car that redefines automotive art. Price? North of $30 million, but Bugatti won’t say. For Perridon, who owns the world’s largest private Bugatti collection, the Brouillard is the crown jewel, the marriage of the brand’s engineering and his personal vision.
