2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Stands Out for Bringing Gasoline Fury in a High-Voltage World

Meet the 2026 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, a gas-powered beast in a world of EVs. Priced at $54,995 starting MSRP, this is the most powerful car you can buy for under $55,000, with 550 horsepower and 531 lb-ft. of torque.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6 engine, aka the SIXPACK H.O. This engine makes 550 horses through a pair of Garrett GT2054 turbochargers spinning at 185,000 RPM to deliver 30 psi of boost. The engine is designed for instant response, with 88% of peak torque at 2,500 RPM and over 90% from 3,000 to 6,000 RPM. Forged aluminum pistons, a deep-skirt cast-aluminum block and Inconel 100 turbine material mean it can handle the heat and stress of high-performance driving. A carbon-styled engine cover with a red-accented SIXPACK logo is the first hint of internal combustion pride before you even turn the key.

Performance is where this Charger shines. It sprints from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, and covers the quarter mile in 12.2 seconds, with a top speed of 177 mph. All-wheel drive is standard, but you can switch to rear-wheel drive with a button press for smoky burnouts or effortless drifts. Line Lock, a Scat Pack feature, locks the front brakes so the rear wheels can spin freely, perfect for warming tires before a drag strip run. Launch Control lets you dial in your RPM settings for maximum traction so every start is a calculated explosion of power. Five drive modes—Auto, Eco, Wet/Snow, Sport and Custom—let you choose the car’s personality, from fuel-sipping cruiser to track-ready monster.
Handling has been tuned to match the power. The Scat Pack has a multi-link front suspension and four-link rear suspension, for 10% better steady-state response and 25% better handling balance than the previous model. Brembo six-piston front calipers and 380mm ventilated discs up front mean the stopping power matches the go-fast. Brake by Wire eBoost adjusts braking feel based on drive mode, so you don’t get fade during hard use. With a 55/45 weight distribution and a stiffer body structure, the Charger feels planted and responsive, whether carving corners or blasting down a straight.
Visually, the Charger Scat Pack demands attention with its widebody stance—the widest in its class. A unique performance hood with a SIXPACK-logoed grille bezel sets it apart from its electric sibling the Charger Daytona. The front fascia is aggressive with a larger grille area, the rear has debossed “CHARGER” text logo and 100mm rolled exhaust tips in bright or optional Eclipse chrome. There are eight color options to choose from including the new Green Machine and 20-by-10-inch Diamond Cut Luster wheels with 275/40ZR20 Goodyear all-season tires. A Gloss Black rear spoiler adds high-speed stability and the Fratzog logo on the wheel caps nods to Dodge’s heritage while hinting at the future.
Inside it’s a cockpit built for driving enthusiasts. A 10.25-inch digital cluster (upgradable to 16 inches) and 12.3-inch central touchscreen running Uconnect 5. The screens are crisp, responsive and customizable with everything from classic gauge layouts to Performance Pages with acceleration timers and g-force readouts. The flat-top, flat-bottom steering wheel is heated and has paddle shifters, the pistol-grip shifter is close to the start button for quick access. Optional Attitude Adjustment lighting with 64 colors reacts to drive mode changes and adds a dynamic flair to the interior. Premium Nappa leather seats in Black or Demonic Red offer comfort and support, high-back performance seats are optional on Plus trims.
Standard safety features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, active lane management and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality. Blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition and drowsy driver detection are also included. Optional tech like 360-degree surround camera and tire-to-curb views make parking this widebody easier. The Connect ONE package standard for 10 years brings over-the-air updates, remote lock/unlock and basic navigation, the Connect Wi-Fi PLUS adds unlimited hotspot data and advanced remote operations for $17.99 a month after a three-month trial.
For more, the Plus trim adds eight-way power seats, wireless charging pad and Head-up Display. The Carbon & Suede package swaps in real carbon-fiber accents and suede upholstery for a premium feel. Panoramic sunroof opens up the cabin and 914-watt, 18-speaker Alpine PRO audio system sounds as bold as the car. The Blacktop Package adds dark badging and 20-inch Blacknoise wheels.
