Jetson ONE Global Delivery Anduril Palmer Luckey
On a sunny day in Carlsbad, California a small group gathered around a small building, eyes on the Jetson ONE, a fully electric personal aircraft. Palmer Luckey, the tech genius behind Oculus and Anduril Industries was about to get his hands on it.

Jetson’s journey started in 2017 in Poland when inventor Tomasz Patan built the first prototype in his workshop. Fast forward to 2022 and the company has moved to Italy, scaled up production and turned the Jetson ONE into a production ready device. This is a fully realized electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for regular people who want to escape traffic. Over 500 people have signed up and Luckey is the first.

Palmer Luckey, a self-proclaimed aviation nut, was the perfect first customer. Luckey, known for his ability to spot disruption, approached Jetson years ago wanting to buy one of their machines. Originally scheduled for early 2023, the delivery was delayed as Jetson fine tuned the aircraft. Luckey, ever the patient visionary, stayed supportive and told the team to get it right. On delivery day, Jetson’s founder Tomasz Patan and CEO Stephan D’haene were there to guide Luckey through the unboxing and pre-flight procedures. He completed ground training in under 50 minutes and flew his first low altitude flights.

The Founders Edition is limited to 100 units and features a two tone white and carbon finish, leather upholstery, LED illumination and snap lock replaceable batteries. A red swoosh on the front fairings and a numbered plate on the carbon headrest add a touch of flair, while practical accessories like a carbon dolly and smart chargers make ownership easy. This is more than just a car, it’s a statement, combining safety, simplicity and cutting edge technology in a package that’s both futuristic and approachable.

The company will be delivering more in the US / Europe soon and a new HQ is being built in California to handle the growing operations as well as pilot training. The Jetson ONE is not a luxury toy for the ultra rich, it’s a step towards making flight as accessible as driving. Jetson’s work is part of a bigger trend, as drones are delivering packages in Rwanda and air taxis are being demonstrated in Japan.
